Action

The concept of action games is quite wide and it usually includes games that require a lot of reflex, agility and accuracy from the players. The genre includes shooters such as Battlefield of Call of Duty series or so-called adventure action games (here Tomb Raider series is good example, which gained a cult game reputation). The events in games can be observed from first or third person view. In most cases we control a hero who has to accomplish target and kill the enemies at the same time. In order to make the task not complicated too much, player has got some arsenal of weapons. It includes rocket launchers as well as knives. Subgenre that deserves special attention seem to be adventure action game where emphasis placed on combat is far smaller and more important is the story, good knowledge of surroundings and the ability to solve puzzles.
