Story review

The crafting game on PS4, XONE, Microsoft Windows takes place on one of the islands located on the Hebrides (in close proximity to Scotland). The location presented in the game can be terrifying on its own. Nevertheless, this is where we wake up. Even weirder, the only thing we have in our possession is a mysterious note.

Of course, the very reason why we found ourselves in a place like this remains a mystery. Game mechanics

Everything that happens in The Other 99 is seen from the first-person perspective. Our protagonist’s goal is to find various resources in order to survive in this strange place.

In addition to food and raw materials, we are also forced to collect other artefacts that can be used to construct weapons. As befits a good survival horror game, the number of available modifications (crafts) is bigger than big. And upgraded weapons will be very useful. Especially since we will face more and more threatening characters.

The Other 99 can be considered a sandbox game. We have almost unlimited freedom, resulting from the high degree of influence the protagonist has on the surrounding characters. What is more, each of them can be killed (although it is not always recommended). Your other options are escape or getting around your enemies. The decision on how to play the game belongs entirely to us. The world of The Other 99 has been fully polished in terms of graphics, courtesy of the Unreal Engine 4 the same as in the Scum game.
