A few words about the gameplay

When it comes to gameplay itself it is rather similar game to the first part. However, it is obvious to say that there are advancements in some elements. A martial arts master controlled by us – Lo Wang that is – is still using blades and firearms to kill his demonic enemies. It’s worth to note that the diversity of the guns and blades is huge (up to 70), so there is a lot to choose from. What’s interesting, the cuts are well-mapped on the bodies of our adversaries, and when we cut him in half, we do it in exact place, where we put our blade through. Maybe it’s a detail, but it’s nice to see such realistic effect on the screens of your computer or TV while playing Shadow Warrior 2 on your console. In the game there is still the character development system and enhancements of the weapons used by us. We can find there artefacts, which influence the type of dealt damages when they are attached to our weapon. While the first part of Shadow Warrior was rather linear, the second part is open. Each level is a kind of sandbox area. It results in greater freedom in choosing the way to perform the task. What is more, each level is randomly generated in some extent. It can also be counted as the benefit. With another approaches we are not dealing with completely different level but instead the village we can for example encounter rivers. Because of such solution, the game of the developers can be finished more than once having fun all the time.
